 The school year is off to a great start! There are new and improved student-centered spaces on campus, new academic and co-curricular program offerings created, and some exciting events and activities have already taken place and even more are scheduled for this fall semester. We've also received some great recognition recently in the marketplace for both the College and our students and alumni.
It was great to meet many of you during Orientation Weekend and I hope to see you on campus again soon for our Inauguration and Family Weekend in October. In the meantime, I welcome your thoughts as we continue to build a great future for Babson and our students.

Babson is Once Again #1 and Now Top #25
Our undergraduate program has been ranked #1 in entrepreneurship by U.S. News & World Report. Babson has received this honor each time the publication has conducted its survey for the past 14 years. The undergraduate program was also listed as #25 in the best business programs category and #22 for international business.
Babson Athletics Launches New Online Experience
The Babson Athletics Department has officially announced its new partnership with PrestoSports. The new web site, which will maintain the same basic design for the coming year but will have several new features, was launched earlier this month. Because of the switch, the department asks that all of our fans delete any babsonathletics.cstv.com bookmarks and replace them with our new address: www.babsonathletics.com.
As part of its partnership with PrestoSports, the Athletics Department is pleased to introduce its new sport-specific post-game email update service. Now, our students, parents, alumni, and fans can closely follow the Babson sports that most interest them by having recaps sent to their email accounts following every contest. In another off-season development, the Athletics Department is happy to announce a brand new partnership with Stretch Internet, which will assist Babson in its streaming video needs for the next two years. BusinessWeek Best Entrepreneurs 25 and Under
Once again, Babson recent alumni have made BusinessWeek’s Best U.S. Entrepreneurs 25 and Under. Voting to decide the Top 5 finalists is open so vote online now for your favorite Babson entrepreneurs by viewing the slide show at the BusinessWeek web site. Two Babson community members’ businesses are in the Top 25 this year – InternBridge, founded by recent alumnus Rich Bottner ’07; and Knetwit, founded by two students currently on leave from Babson to pursue the venture full-time. Two current students are also part of the company’s 22 employees.

Family Weekend and Inauguration: October 17 - 19
This weekend is a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to visit the Babson campus and engage with the entire Babson community. Weekend festivities include the inauguration of Leonard A. Schlesinger as the College's 12th President, the Babson Alumni Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame Dinner, Babson Players performances, the Cruickshank Race for Shelter 5K Run and Walk, the Inauguration Symposium, Casino Night and much, much more. Don't miss out on the exciting weekend of fun that begins on Friday, October 17 with activities continuing through Sunday afternoon!

Take the Key to OUR Car
Babson College and Zipcar are once again partners in bringing car sharing to campus. Zipcars are self-service cars parked on campus that can be reserved online, by the our or by the day. The cars are available to all students 18+ for $35 per year. Gas, insurance and parking are then included in the low hourly rental rate of $8.50. The program allows students the flexibility and freedom to travel off campus without the hassle of car ownership. In coordination with the Student Government Association, the College's partnership with Zipcar is a natural fit for Babson with regards to the campus' environmental initiatives and the desire to increase transportation options.
