Babson College will celebrate the life of colleague, mentor and friend, Jeffry Timmons with a memorial service on Friday, June 20th, at 10:30 am and on Thursday, June 19th with a Visioning Event on Entrepreneurship in 2020 to carry on Jeff’s Entrepreneurial Revolution.

The memorial service will be held at the Sorenson Auditorium at Babson College with Jeff’s family and a few of his many close colleagues and friends speaking about his impact on their lives and work.  A photo montage reflecting a snapshot of Jeff’s life will begin in the auditorium at 10:00 am.  Refreshments will follow, allowing us to have a time of fellowship and reflection.

The Visioning Entrepreneurship 2020 will begin at 3 pm, on Thursday, June 19th, at the Babson Executive Education Center.  “We at Babson were fortunate to have Jeff in an all-day brainstorming session envisioning ‘the next level of entrepreneurship’ shortly before his death.    Advancing his entrepreneurship revolution around the world was his professional passion.  We believe he would smile at the thought of his myriad friends and colleagues - entrepreneurs, VC’s, scholars, and friends - discussing the future of entrepreneurship and the ways we are carrying his legacy forward,” said Trish Costello, Director, Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship, Babson College.  The three hour visioning sessions will be followed by cocktails at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm, “then time for all to share Jeff’s impact on our life’s work.  You’re invited to join us at any time that will work in your schedule,” said Costello.
