Babson hosts the PMC Wellesley-Weston Kids Ride on June 1, 2008, from 9:00am to noon.
The event features 500 kids pedaling anything from 10 speeds to unicycles to raise $75,000 for cancer research.
Kids ages 3 to 13 pedal their bikes to raise money for cancer research. The event features three groups:
Tot Lot (ages 3-5): A fun-filled obstacle course and play area;
Adventure Route (ages 6-9): A brand-new 3/4 mile loop;
Challenge Route (ages 10-13): 2 mile course.
The event features a celebrate at the finish line with music, games, food and a raffle and silent auction.

PMC Kids Rides became an official PMC program in 2005 as a way to include young cyclists in the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge mission – raising money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. According to PMC, the program engages youth in philanthropy, instills the value of working for the benefit of others, and promotes athletic fitness and physical activity.
Babson College is the Wellesley home to the PMC 2008, which will take place August 2nd and 3rd.
