Bob Fogel has joined Babson College as Executive Vice President and Executive Dean.
Fogel will oversee administrative and operational functions of the College as Babson’s Chief Operational Officer and will work with senior leadership to ensure that financial, capital and operational resources are deployed in support of the College’s mission. 
He comes to Babson from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he served as Dean for Administration. There he was credited with revitalizing all aspects of school operations.
“His prior experiences as president and CEO of Harvard Business School Interactive, Inc., and executive director of executive education at Harvard Business School make him the perfect person for the job,” said Babson president Len Schlesinger.
“I look forward to working closely with Babson’s new president and the talented team that has made Babson the global center for entrepreneurship education. This is an exciting place to be at an exciting time in its history,” said Fogel.
Previously, Fogel held positions as managing associate at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting and as chief of financial management at the United States Coast Guard. He continues to be active in the Coast Guard Reserve.
Fogel is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and he holds a bachelors degree in government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
He lives in Belmont, Mass. with his wife Ellen Mahoney, and their daughters Samantha and Julia.
