Fast Facts on Fast Track

Coursework and activities in the Fast Track MBA follow a modular format designed, in broad terms, to mirror the cycle of business development.  Respectively, the core curriculum focuses on:

  • recognizing and assessing an opportunity
  • formulating a business strategy
  • implementing the business strategy
  • modifying that strategy and systems as conditions evolve and change

The content of each portion of the curriculum reflects the real-world challenges and opportunities facing managers today and will draw heavily on students' own work-life experiences.

Program Logistics
The Fast Track program will next enroll classes beginning September 2007 (Babson and Portland, OR) and early 2008 (Babson).  There are three major components to Fast Track:

  • face-to-face meetings (approximately every six weeks at Babson or Portland, OR)
  • action learning projects (short, highly focused assignments)
  • distance-learning components (the Web-based element of the program)

For reference on past program calendars, please click on one of the following: Babson Campus (enrolled September 2006) and Portland, OR (enrolled September 2006).

Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the Fast Track program can be found on the Tuition & Payment page.

Specific payment dates and amounts will vary depending on the electives chosen.  Tuition rates may be subject to standard MBA program increases.

A $1,000.00, non-refundable deposit toward tuition is due approximately 30 days following admission.

Tuition figures do not include the cost of books and other course materials, which are estimates.  Students are also responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses.
