At Babson, we teach you how businesses operate in the real world. Our MBA students learn to think holistically as they address the complexities of the new economy. And not only are our programs recognized worldwide, they are repeatedly ranked among the best. Babson pioneered the integrated approach to management education, particularly through the innovative modular curriculum in our full-time degree programs. Our Evening MBA program takes the same approach. It utilizes a more compact core of ten courses, four of which are completely integrated. These integrated courses feature cross-disciplinary learning and encourage students to analyze how management works—not just in theory, but in action.
For example, your professor may take a business case and discuss it from a marketing point of view and then bring in a colleague who will discuss the same case from the perspective of finance. Thus, you have to think about the case from different angles—just as you need to do on the job.
The challenge, of course, lies in integrating the various separate perspectives. That’s how you achieve the fullest understanding—and the optimal solution—to a business problem. Such real-world assignments make courses come alive.
The Evening MBA program not only offers you flexibility, it also lets you earn your degree in 3 years. You may complete your degree even faster if you opt for full-time status. While the average completion time for the Evening MBA is 3 1/2 years, you have the option of completing your degree in more or less time.
You can also earn your degree more quickly if you qualify for advanced standing. Applicants qualify for advanced-standing credit in certain courses by having earned professional credentials—for example, as a CPA, CFA, or CMA—or by having taken relevant, equivalent academic courses. See Advanced Standing and Waiver Exam Policy for details.
