Marilyn Snyder

In september 2003, Marilyn Snyder was named Deputy Director of the Glavin Center for Global Management and Director of the Global Programs Services/Office of International Programs (GPS/OIP). From 1986 to 2003, she served as Director of Babson Consulting Services which managed approximately 120 projects involving 450 students each year. She has also managed Babson’s Executives-in-Residence program and was an instructor for the management division, teaching first-year undergraduates and the graduate course Managing the Consulting Experience. She is co-founder of Babson College’s Center for Information Management Systems (CIMS) and the Center for Women’s Leadership. Marilyn Snyder received her MBA from Babson College and her BA from Boston University. She also studied in Paris and Geneva.
Elise Beaudin

Elise Beaudin manages the offshore courses, education abroad and international consulting program staff as well as the operations of the Office of International Programs. Elise joined Babson in 1994 as a Recruiting Assistant with the Center for Career Development, and has managed various programs in the Babson Consulting Services office. She has had extensive program management and development experience, managing the Babson Consulting Alliance Program (BCAP), the MBA and Undergraduate Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) programs as well as a variety of other programs. Her close work with corporate clients and NFP organizations helped to build the MCFE and BCAP relationships for Babson College while soliciting projects for these programs. Prior to joining Babson, Elise managed the Distribution Sales Group as well as Sales and Product training for Gallagher Associates, a manufacturer’s representative firm in the electronic components industry. In addition, her background includes the development of internal training for the Mortgage Services department and supervision of Investor Relations department at the BankBoston Mortgage Corporation. Elise received a BS in Education from Framingham State College in 1986, and has completed courses in the part-time MBA program at Babson.
Renée Graham

Phone: 781-239-4536 Renée Graham manages the UG JMCFE program, UG and MBA Russia Off Shore and MBA Brazil and Asia Off Shore Courses; supports incoming partner school courses; coordinates Babson's annual International Education Week of activities and manages the marketing materials and website for Office of International Programs. Renée joined the OIP staff in 2005 having previously worked at Wellesley Financial Group and Insurance Agency, as a retirement plan coordinator and marketing assistant. Renée received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She is the founding coordinator of the after school Enrichment Program at Christa McAuliffe Regional Charter Public School in Framingham, MA. Renée’s travel experiences abroad include Canada, Mexico, South America and throughout Europe.
Dan Gormley

Dan most recently worked as a Program Manager for the Full-Time MBA program at London Business School. In this role he was responsible for advising students, managing the creation of the MBA Capstone course, directing the student consulting and shadowing projects, and managing the international field trips. Prior to that position, Dan worked in Student Services at Boston College and as a Regional Manager for ANC Sports. Dan received his B.A. in Sociology from Wake Forest University, completed the 3DP Management Development Program at the London Business School and is pursuing his M.A. in Higher Education Administration at Boston College.
Craig Rinker

Craig Rinker is responsible for the management of Education Abroad programs including the coordination and promotion of outgoing exchanges, management of incoming exchanges, and oversight of undergraduate offshore course programs. Craig came to the Office of International Programs from the Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad where he most recently served as an assistant director for institutional relations and previously served as an officer in their British operations centre in London, UK. His work at Arcadia has involved all aspects of education abroad program management and promotion ranging from recruitment to on-site overseas coordination. Rinker’s professional experiences range from higher education risk management, to student development advising, as well as international education programming. He has also worked as an advisor to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, Lynn University, and Davidson College. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Allegheny College and a master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Georgia.
Christine Pirani

Christine joined Babson College in July 2005 and is responsible for the outbound education abroad and UG Off Shore (Italy) programs. Prior to coming to Babson, Christine studied full-time in the Master’s program at Lesley University. While studying at Lesley, she interned with EUSA, a study abroad organization in partnership with Boston University. Her work there included the research and development of educational partnerships for new study abroad programs for business students. In addition, Christine has experience working at EF Education, placing au pairs from all over the world with American host families, and leading the Venice-to-Bologna cycling trip in Italy with Ciclismo Classico. Christine’s interest in education abroad stems from her undergraduate days, when she had the opportunity to study abroad in Padova, Italy. Christine received her BA in English and Creative Writing from Colby College, and graduated in May, 2006 from Lesley University with her Masters in Intercultural Relations, and a concentration in International Education Exchange.

Heather joined the Office of International Programs in May 2008. In her role as Coordinator of Education Abroad Programs, Heather manages all programming and services for incoming international exchange students, and assists with semester abroad advising and programming. Prior to coming to Babson, Heather spent five years working in public relations, executing strategic communications campaigns for clients in professional services, healthcare, consumer goods and non-profit industries. She brings to Babson a strong business background in communications as well as considerable international experience in Latin America, where she has organized and facilitated community service and volunteer opportunities in Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. Heather holds a B.A. from Colby College in Administrative Science and Spanish, and spent a semester of study with Pitzer College in Ecuador (Quito, Ecuador).

Karen is responsible for the management of the international student & scholar program, providing the overall direction for international student & scholar program activities, as well as, advising approximately 450 graduate and undergraduate international students and their families on all matters pertaining to the F-1 and J-1 visa and cultural adjustment. Karen has been involved in the fields of International Education and Immigration for over 20 years and has studied abroad or worked in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Japan, and the Philippines. Karen's professional experience ranges from teaching English as a second language, to intercultural consulting, to immigration legal assistance, as well as international student advising. Karen has worked as an Advisor to international students and faculty, at Georgetown University, MIT, the University of Texas at Austin, Yale University, and most recently at Teikyo Post University in Connecticut. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from Colby College and a Masters degree in Latin American Development from Georgetown University.

Tracey Reza is responsible for advising Babson’s international students and scholars on immigration issues and cultural adjustment, and assisting with federal regulatory compliance. Reza is passionate about international education, and her work experience has included study abroad advising, teaching ESL in Korea and in the U.S., and international recruitment, admissions and student advising. Reza became interested in international education after her undergraduate study abroad experience at the American University in Bulgaria. Since then, she has traveled to Asia, Central America, the Dominican Republic, Europe, India, Mexico and the Middle East for her work in international admissions and recruitment at Emmanuel College in Boston and more recently, at Bentley College in Waltham. She has also enjoyed personal travels to Iran, Scandinavia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. Reza is an active member, presenter, and trainer for NAFSA: The Association for International Educators. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Student Development in Higher Education from the University of Maine.

As a Program Assistant in OIP, Elizabeth Saumsiegle prepares immigration documentation for new and continuing international students, coordinates programs and events, and provides general administrative support for the office. Prior to joining Babson, Saumsiegle worked as a Project Administrator for Trane while working to complete her Master's Degree in Intercultural Relations at Lesley University. Over the course of her studies, she had the opportunity to present at a NAFSA Regional Conference for international educators about the strategies international students use as they adjust to an American institution. Saumsiegle first became interested in the field of International Education as the result of her study abroad experience at Regent's College in London. She earned her B.A. in Early American History from the University of New Hampshire, and will receive her Master's Degree in May 2008.
