The purpose of the Global Management Awards is to recognize the achievements of Babson College and its alumni in global and international business. To qualify for the award(s), Babson alumni/alumnae must meet the criteria for one or more of the specific awards.

The W.F. Glavin Center for Global Management recognized four Babson Alumni for their achievements in Global Management and Entrepreneurship at the second Annual Global Symposium held on campus April 17th. These four were presented with awards by Distinguished Professor and Director of the Glavin Center for Global Management Dr. Jean-Pierre Jeannet.

This year’s recipients of the 2004 Global Management Awards are:

Feyzi Celik M ‘91
President and CEO of OnePIN

Received the Global Entrepreneur Award for his vision and success in building OnePIN, a permission-based contact management system that enables individuals and organizations to keep their personal contact information current. To qualify for this award the Global Entrepreneur must have created at least one venture/company outside of his/her native culture and country and successfully managed it for at least three years. Feyzi started OnePIN in 1998. (www.onepin.com)

VP and Chief Marketing Officer of Kitchen Etc

Gita, who was also a panelist during the Global Symposium, received the Global Mandate Award. The Global Mandate Award is presented to a Babson Alumnae with experience managing a global initiative.

Jeff Schiebe M ’81
VP of Business Development for OnePIN

Both Susan and Jeff received the International Manager Award. The International Manager Award is presented to an outstanding manager with at least three years of international management experience.
