Valerie Wrenn is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Engineering Management Support, Inc. (EMSI), a national personnel placement firm based in Billerica, MA. In her leadership role Ms. Wrenn manages all aspects of EMSI's operations. EMSI list of client companies include some of the country's largest Fortune 500 companies as well as a broad range of companies in manufacturing, high technology, telecommunications, service and consumer products.

Prior to EMSI, Ms. Wrenn was employed at Honeywell Electro Optics where she held several HR Management and Procurement positions with extensive responsibility for recruiting managers in line, staff and field positions.

Under Ms. Wrenn's leadership, EMSI's revenue has more than tripled since its inception in 1992, and is re-positioning itself to broaden its capabilities to the area of government. Her philosophy "builds relationships and wins customer trust through a strong reputation and commitment for supplying only the industries best personnel." The EMSI team, under her tutelage continues to set the bar high, current projects include the development of a proprietary personnel placement portal and expanding EMSI capabilities into both the Local and Federal government.

Ms. Wrenn comes from humble beginnings born in New York City, where she is a graduate of Prospect High School in Brooklyn N.Y. She has continued to educate herself through taking numerous certificate business courses at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business to keep herself abreast of emerging business trends.

Ms. Wrenn is affiliated with many local charitable organizations and is a proud member of the New England Minority Purchasing Council, Commonwealth Institute, and is certified by the Small Business Administration and SOMWBA as a DBE.
