While Robyn Baras has worked since her graduation from Boston University with a business degree in 1981 for investment firms such as Eastern Capital and Lehman Brothers, and in the food business since 1996 when she co-founded SJR Foods, the common podium or formula for her successes has been a reliance upon carving out value added product and service advantages, partnering with entities needing those advantages, and prioritizing performance which needs to exceed the anticipated. A huge believer in public relations and often times more effective and less routine marketing programs, she respects those rare companies and people who find ways to get the needed job done.

 

Working alongside her co-founder and husband Larry, SJR Foods has created products that have been illuminated within media from USA Today to The Boston Phoenix. From CNN to local radio. While SJR Foods also supplies commercial customers, Robyn has also spearheaded the company’s efforts and penetration into worldwide military supply.
