Gordon Mariner Trim
President of Babson Institute 1957-1961

Biographical
Gordon Trim was born in Cutler, ME on July 4, 1903. He graduated from Colby College in 1929. He became Director of Admissions at Babson Institute in 1947. In 1954 he was named Vice-President and was made acting President in 1956. President Trim died suddenly May 5, 1961 and was buried in Culter, ME.

The Boston Children’s Convalescent Home is purchased, remodeled, and renamed Forest hall.
Faculty-rank and tenure adopted.
The evening or part-time MBA program began.
The decision to build a new dining hall is made. The completed building is later named for the recently deceased President Trim.
