As we continue to provide improved online services for alumni, Babson is happy to announce the launch of the new Alumni Network Directory. This latest version combines easier navigation and increased user-friendliness with an innovative design and layout. The Alumni Network Directory still allows you to update your current biographical information and search the entire Babson alumni community by various segments.
A new password is needed for this version of the Alumni Network Directory so please contact the Alumni Relations Office at 781-239-4562 or alumrel@babson.edu.
New features include:
- Real-time data updates that makes new information instantly searchable
- Preferences tab that allows you to select your preferred address and e-mail for internal and external use
- The ability to choose blocks of information to publish or not to publish to the web
- New online maintenance of passwords
- New search fields including Job Title and MBA Program Type
- “Last updated” record designations
- The ability to change your Lifetime Forwarding E-mail address
- And much, much more.
Upon entering the new Alumni Network Directory, you will need to initiate a one-time activation process for the new online community. Also, you will be asked to sign a Terms & Agreement policy detailing the proper use of the alumni directory and the alumni Web site.
You will now be able to add, edit, or remove the Lifetime Forwarding E-mail designation within your personal profile. SPAM notifications on the subject line have been removed, but improved filtering settings are available and are detailed within the alumni Web site. Additionally, you will also be able to designate preferred addresses and e-mails to be published to the Alumni Directory and/or for use in communications from the alumni office. These “dropdowns” are listed on your preferences tab within your personal profile.
The Alumni Network Directory is a valuable resource that will assist you in networking and contacting your classmates and friends from Babson. Please use it responsibly.
