Dr. Feinstein's research and teaching specialties are derivatives, valuation, and investments. His articles on these subjects have appeared in The Journal of Risk, Derivatives Quarterly, Derivatives Week, Primus, The Atlanta Federal Reserves's Economic Review, American Bankruptcy Institute Journal, Risk Management, Journal of Financial Planning and The Portable MBA in Finance and Accounting.
Dr. Feinstein conducts professional seminars for executives, and has consulted for a variety of organizations including Bankers Trust, Cho Hung Bank of Korea, Chrysler, Honeywell, ITT, Lehman Brothers, Lucent Technologies, Nippon Life Insurance, State Street Bank and Travelers Insurance. Professor Feinstein has provided analysis and testimony in class action securities lawsuits, qui tam yield burning cases, and complex business litigation. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Feinstein was an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
